For this release, the raw R9 sequencing data of SARS-CoV-2, originally generated by the CADDE project (Brazil-UK Centre for Arbovirus Discovery, Diagnosis, Genomics, and Epidemiology) in 2020, has been converted from the FAST5 format file to the POD5 format using the POD5 package. The original raw data can be accessed at https://cadde.s3.climb.ac.uk/SP1-raw.tgz and has been used in multiple publications developing methods for nanopore squiggle analysis.
